Options
On the product page, users are able to give options and questions for a product. The options function to ask some of the questions related to the product itself. Type of options that users can customize are:
How to setup Option for your product:
- 1.Go to the product page -> choose and click on the product that the variant you want to add/modify
- 2.Scroll down until you find the options section (below the variant section)
- 3.Press
Add Options
button (press the button again if you have more than 1 variant) - 4.Choose the options type -> text/number/date/selection/checkbox (refer to the explanation below to apply it to your products)
- 1.Text type option -> This function is to ask buyer some questions and expects free-form text as the answer
- Question: Do you have any allergies? if yes please specify, if no leave it blank
- Answer: Yes, I'm allergic to shrimp
- 2.Number type option -> This function is to ask buyer some questions and gets a number as the answer
- Question: How many packing bag you need?
- Answer: 2
- 3.Date type option -> This function is to ask buyer some questions in the form of a date-picker (calendar) and gets an answer in the form of a specific date
- Question: Please specify pre-order date for this item
- Answer: dd/mm/yyyy
- 4.Selection type option -> This function is to ask buyer some questions and then give them a multiple-selection choice where they can only choose 1 answer
- Question: Do you need cutleries
- Answer: Yes or no (choose 1)
- 5.Checkbox type option -> This function is to ask buyer some questions and then give them a multiple-selection choice where they need to answer with certain validation rule (e.g. answer at least, at most, or between)
- Question: Steak temperature (choose at least 1)
- Answer: Medium✅
