Service type
Service type lets the user choose the following service provided by store after purchasing the products
In creating a service (e.g. delivery/pick-up) in Take App admin menu, users are able to choose between these 2 service types:
- 1.Delivery -> You can set delivery services choices such as flat delivery service, a delivery fee based on distance, or even same-day delivery with a cutoff time function
- (by choosing the service type = DELIVERY, a delivery address input field will be visible on the order form upon the specified services being picked)
- 2.Other -> You can set another type of service that include non-chargeable types of services such as Pick-up, Dine-in, or a flat charge service that does not require the buyer to fill in the delivery address
- (by choosing the service type = OTHER, there will be no delivery address input field on the order form upon the specified services being picked)
An example case of Delivery vs another service type:
Delivery type -> Include an delivery address input field
Other type -> does not include delivery address input field
