Buy X Get Y Discount
Customize discount based on buy certain product to get a discount or free product
User will be able to create a discount by selecting certain products from the store (X) and other products (Y) to give for free or there will be a discount for it.
You will need to select items for:
- CUSTOMER BUYS (X) Customer need to buy the product/s that's listed under the Customer Buys Example: Medium Coat
- CUSTOMER GETS (Y) Customer will get the product/s that's listed under the Customer Gets for free or there will be a discount (depend on what you set) Example: Fashion Scarf
For Example: Buy 1 Medium Coat and Get 1 Fashion Scarf for FREE.
When customer buy 1 Medium Coat and 1 Fashion Scarf, she will get Scarf for Free.
Once customer order the selecting products:
- 1.If the product they choose
matchthe Buy X Get Y products -> they will get the discount - 2.If the product they choose
do not matchthe Buy X Get Y products -> they will not get the discount
- Admin > Discounts > Rules
- Add
- Activate / Deactivate Buy X Get Y rules (click the button on top right of the page)
- Title (Mandatory)
- Select Rule Type (Buy X Get Y)
- Select Products for CUSTOMER BUYS
- Select Products for CUSTOMER GETS
- Select type of Discount Value (Percentage / Free)
- Select Products
- Save
NOTE: You can set only 1 type of Discount Rule (You cannot set Buy X Get Y Discount if there is still active Bundle Discount --> You need to Deactivate it first)
Add Discount Rules
Select Rule Type: Bundle Discount
To Activate or Deactivate Rules
Select CUSTOMER BUYS and CUSTOMER GETS Products
Select Discount Value
BUY X GET Y DISCOUNT TUTORIAL:
Log in to admin > Discounts > Rules > Add
